The last  SheepNet national workshop was held in Carfraemill Hotel, Lauder, 4:30-9pm on 13th May 2019.

We heard the latest from the SheepNet trip to Sardinia, discussed ideas with farmers that have tested them on their farms and learnt about the latest findings of the Lleyn and Blackface production comparison at SRUC Hill and Mountain Research Centre.

SheepNet – a European project that brings together scientists, advisors and farmers from seven countries to target improved efficiency in lamb production.

This meeting was to disseminate the latest findings of the project, hear from the farmers that have implemented some of the tips and tricks gained from other European farmers and hear Dr Nicola Lambe and Dr Claire Morgan-Davies discuss the Lleyn versus Blackface trial at SRUC Kirkton research farm.
