September the 3rd, SheepNet organised its final seminar at Gramat in France. Here is the webinar of the whole seminar.
Why SheepNet? What was the context of the sheep productivity when we set up SheepNet?
SheepNet is based on the expressed needs of stakeholders. This is the first step of SheepNet made in Edinburgh the 8th & 9th June 2017.
The second SheepNet step aims to identified and share existing solutions to improve sheep productivity. This were done in Timisoara the 15th & 16th November 2017.
The third SheepNet step, hold in Vitoria-Gasteiz the 13th & 14th June 2018, aims to share Tips&Tricks that help the implementation of solutions to improve sheep productivity.
The fourth SheepNet Step aims to share experience and solution based on precision livestock farming. Mains of communications/transfer were also shared. Those activities were hold in Alghero the 28th & 29th November 2018.
The fifth SheepNet Step aims to share feedbacks of stakeholders who tested some SheepNet solutions. This were hold in Athlone the 12th & 13th June 2019.
Base on all the knowledge collected during the SheepNet project, 22 factsheets were produced and 19 new research needs were identified.

What next after SheepNet? A new thematic network, EuroSheep, which will focus on nutrition and health for sheep.
